I grew up in Brisbane, Australia in a family of 5 children. After attending undergraduate studies in Education at university, in 1991, I started Primary School teaching in a country town called Longreach in Queensland, Australia. After 3 wonderful years working in the Australian bush I travelled to Papua New Guinea for my next adventure as a teacher. I loved it so much I stayed for 6 1/2 years and met my husband there. A year after we were married we found ourselves back in Australia for a few months then made the move to Dubai, UAE, where my husband had grown up. We have been in Dubai since December 2000. I have worked in several Primary Schools as a Full-time and Supply Teacher. Our three boys were all born here. I completed Triple P Training in Australia in 2007 and have enjoyed helping families learn effective parenting strategies that have strengthened their relationships, opened communication and learned effective behaviour management strategies.
